HR should lead, not just manage. We'll take a look at where HR has been as a profession, where it's going, and how HR leaders can be change agents. The good news? The forecast is a sunny future as long as HR is prepared for change. Twenty years ago, there were few notable CEOs who came from an HR background. Today, there are many more. This shift is indicative of the transformation we've seen in HR - from managing to leading. HR as a Change Agent will be critical in helping people in organizations become more agile and adaptable to change like taxis to uber to driverless transportation. HRCI as an organization has also changed and their goal is to make people and organizations better.

Our discussion faciliator is John Lunde, Chief Business Development Officer at the HR Certification Institute.
