    Biography:

Suman Kapur, M.S. is the CEO of Well Balanced Solutions www.LinkedIn.com/in/SumanKapur

As a daughter of immigrant parents in the U.S., Suman grew up finding ways to make connections between cultures and generations. As she straddled two different cultures, reconciling her Indian identity at home with her American kid experience at school, she began to realize that, for some, being aware of differences can be alienating. But for Suman, this awareness was a catalyst to creating bridges and finding common ground.

As a Professional Development Coach and Consultant focusing on Conflict Management and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, Suman understands people in a way that enables her to guide them towards win-win solutions. She improves dynamics between people and helps them navigate everyday conflicts so they can transcend differences and move towards improved cooperation and a better partnership for success.

Suman works with organizations who are genuinely dedicated to equity, inclusion and belonging to build stronger, diverse teams, to help them understand the power of positive conflict and who are looking to improve their team communications, interpersonal skills, productivity, and the bottom line.

Suman brings her spirit of inquiry, education, and her “people first” attitude to her professional life, helping to resolve conflicts, enhance leadership skills, and develop healthy workplaces.

Suman has a master’s degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and was a Mediator before starting her own business. She lives in the Greater Washington, DC area with her husband and two children.
