We at Dulles SHRM continue support our black colleagues and communities and are here for you.

As a leader representing the HR Profession, Dulles SHRM is disturbed by the civil unrest across the US.  In reflecting on who we are as an organization, we represent individuals and organizations of multiple races, cultures, and beliefs, and continually work to bring together differing views and perspectives.  As a community of HR professionals, we are committed to ensuring a respectful and dignified environment, taking steps to fight racism.  This can be achieved through compassion and open-mindedness regarding to diversity and inclusion.  We encourage each of our members to demonstrate the leadership necessary for our organizations to not only succeed, but ensure our workforce is supported, encouraged, and treated fairly.

We must remember that each of us has a perspective, a view, an opinion, and often we may disagree.  However, we must take this opportunity to reach out to our colleagues and provide the compassion and understanding that is paramount to the values of Dulles SHRM. 

COVID-19 Update as of July 20, 2020

Dulles SHRM is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our members. In response to the current environment related to COVID-19, Dulles SHRM has made the decision to go virtual.  At this time, all of our chapter meetings and board meetings will be held virtually, through October 2020. We will continue to communicate with members and guests via email, through our website and on our social media platforms.
