Description:
The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for partnering with leaders to deliver top qualified technical and non-technical talent throughout the organization. The Corporate Recruiter will develop local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional and non-traditional sourcing techniques and resources as well as developing new and innovative recruiting action plans. The Corporate Recruiter will proactively engage with HR and Operational leaders as an SME on talent acquisition, policies, processes and compliance. The Corporate Recruiter will foster a strong customer service orientation; provide leadership and work collaboratively and independently at all levels of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Will have proven track record of developing and executing recruiting strategies
- Will have the ability to network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, referrals, social media, employees, databases, and other sourcing channels
- Will establish and participate in college recruiting initiatives
- Will have the ability to build strong working relationships with hiring managers and act in a consultative role to determine hiring needs
- Apply thorough knowledge of full life cycle recruiting to include job creation, sourcing, screening, and interviewing to fill positions quickly
- Conduct proactive recruiting to develop a pipeline of qualified candidates in advance of need
- Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings
- Ability to travel to career events on behalf of the organization
- Must generate a flow of qualified resumes to meet job requirements
- Recommends opportunities for continuous improvement to current processes and procedures
- Other duties as assigned to support the Human Resources team
Required Skills:
- Experience recruiting in a federal government contracting environment
- Hold Advanced Internet Recruiting Strategies (AIRS) Certified Internet Recruiting (CIR) designations
- Strong comprehension of OFCCP, EEO and Affirmative Action regulations and guidelines
- Knowledge of a range of employment laws
- Must have extensive knowledge of TAELO applicant tracking systems
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and applicant tracking systems
- Ability to comprehend and explain talent acquisition policies and procedures
- Capable of delivering successful solutions to problems that require creativity, innovation and resourcefulness
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Detail oriented with strong proven organizational skills
- Utilizes benchmarking and trending resources to support leaders in effective staffing needs
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related discipline, or 5 years equivalent work experience
- 5 yrs. experience in recruiting practices in a corporate environment and able to recruit at all levels of an organization
- 5 yrs. experience in social media recruitment (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
- 5 yrs. experience in recruiting using various medians including networking, job boards, job fairs, community outreach programs, etc.
- 5 yrs. experience in full cycle recruitment in a corporate environment
