We are looking for a motivated teammate who can provide leadership in the communication, implementation and maintenance of a Countywide comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategic plan.
The successful candidate in this newly created position will assist in the advancement of programs and initiatives to embed diversity and inclusion into the culture of the organization. This position is designed for building partnerships and networks internally and within the community to ensure that our organization leads the way in being an employer of choice for a diverse workforce. Evaluating and reporting on outreach/diversity outcomes will be a key component of this position. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional with strong analytical skills to take their career to the next level.
Requirements:
Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field and substantial experience in building and delivering diversity and inclusion programs and business solutions.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Broad knowledge of diversity and inclusion processes, procedures, best practices, resources and access points.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis.
- Experience developing external relationships and networks.
- Success in building strong partnerships with internal influencers.
- Business acumen - understands and can articulate the bottom-line impact of diversity and inclusion initiatives across functions.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Bilingual/Multi-lingual.
