As every HR professional will concur, a majority of their day is spent in dealing with a wide variety of emotional events. Additionally, some of these situations may be so emotionally charged that they cannot be easily forgotten when they leave work. Research has shown that emotions trigger the autonomic nervous system and, in turn, trigger stress hormones that cause many harmful effects on the brain and body.  Consequently, this results in significant energy drain for an HR professional.

As HR professionals are increasingly being called upon to help navigate the organization and staff through adversity with resilience and tenacity it becomes critical that HR professionals learn to manage their own stress and build emotional resilience.

Using the HeartMath approach this high-impact program delivers a practical set of easy-to-learn self-regulation tools and resilience-building practices that are reinforced by engaging, real-time monitoring and feedback technology. You can experience the immediate benefits of bringing more ease and balance into your life - at home, at work, in a meeting, while driving, and anywhere or anytime you feel the need to de-stress.

HeartMath tools and techniques are based on over 25 years of scientific research conducted at the HeartMath Institute on the psychophysiology of stress, emotions, and the interactions between the heart and brain.

This interactive session will introduce you to the science and techniques that make HeartMath so effective while also providing some ideas on how to incorporate these techniques to your most pressing stressors.

Come and learn to manage stress and build emotional resilience that will prepare you to thrive in a world of flux, challenge, and opportunity!
