    Meeting Descripton:

More and more organizations are in need of video conferencing software and other communication technology for employees.  Many organizations are increasingly comfortable allowing their employees to work remotely, with research frequently pointing to remote employees being more productive, engaged, and cost savings from both employers & employees.  The remote workforce (currently 4.3 million employees with expectations to rise exponentially over the next few years), is a real trend that’s not going away.  GlobalWorkplaceAnalytics.com notes, that “regular work-at-home, among the non-self-employed population, has grown by 140% since 2005, nearly 10x faster than the rest of the workforce or the self-employed”.   As HR professionals, you’ll want to familiarize yourself with the tools that your future remote team will need to use.
