This one-hour web discussion group will cover the importance of establishing compensation practices, and the benefits of establishing and maintaining structure that enables business strategies and goals. Compensation single largest expense within an organization. Having the basics in place empowers HR professionals, providing them with the tools to foster competitive pay. After attending this webinar, participants will have a better understanding of:
- Basic competitive pay practices
- Job architecture as the the baseline for compensation and beyond
- The value of benchmarking jobs
- The importance of pay structures

Biography:
James Russell, is the Head of Total Rewards for Cor Partners. Cor Partners is the parent company of a group of three major business lines that serve the businesses that serve the insurance, risk management and legal communities. Cor Partners and its 3 businesses is comprised of 1,300 employees (Team Members) in 9, countries. James brings over 20 years of experiences in insurance, financials services, investments, as well as aerospace and aviation, as both a business partner and Total Rewards professional.
James is a graduate of Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. After graduating from Purdue spent began his career in agribusiness, transitioning insurance, financial services, and investments, then into aerospace and aviation, and now back in insurance.
As the head of Total Rewards, James currently works with a cross-functional team that develops compensation, benefits, and wellness strategies across enterprise, providing consultation that assists the business.
