How to Incorporate DE&I Principles into your Benefits Strategy

    You will learn about:

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) are important concepts that refer to creating a workplace environment where all employees feel respected, valued, and included. Employers can support DE&I by offering employee benefits that are inclusive and equitable for all employees.

We will review and discuss the following areas to promote DE& Principles in relation to employee benefits and total rewards.

    • Health Benefits and Plan Coverage: Inclusivity, diverse provider networks, enhanced screening for specific health risks, coverage for non-Western or holistic medical practices and more
    • Family Planning: healthy moms and parents, adoption benefits, fertility treatments; back up child or elder care
    • Time Off & Leave Benefits: Parental leave for natural childbirth, surrogacy, and adoption; flexible work arrangements; floating holidays
    • Communications: employee resource groups; education; recognition

These four key areas all contribute to an inclusive benefits strategy.
