In this session, you will learn practical action steps, strategies, and approaches that you can apply today to improve the effectiveness of your training. You’ll learn how to adjust your training to the virtual, hybrid, and in-person dynamic of teams, how to alter activities to be engaging and practical, and how to strategically build in learning design in a proven 5 step process for richer learning experience.

In this session, we’ll move beyond theory into hands- on experience in designing a better program. We will share how to create an environment for better learning in the beginning of your training through purposeful warm ups and specific questions to address in your preparations. I’ll share effective approaches to establish a baseline knowledge and opportunities for individual learning and growth. I’ll give insight into a series of progressions and building upon baseline knowledge into collaborative learning. I’ll share approaches you can use to lead more powerful retrospectives/ debriefs in your sessions for more concrete takeaways and discussions within different team dynamics.

Lastly, I’ll give you a framework to identify specific courses of action and accountability. Great training sessions don’t happen by accident - they happen through strategic intentional instructional design.
