    Communications Breakthrough

Have you ever had a conversation with someone only to discover later that both of you had an entirely different understanding of that conversation.?  George Bernard Shaw famously said that “The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.”

Communication skills are an absolute necessity for leaders, yet many of us are challenged to communicate effectively.  The problem is rooted in our personal behavior style.   Most of us communicate to others in a manner consistent with our own behavioral style.   Unfortunately, that communication style will only resonate with 25% of the people we connect with.

So how do you overcome this barrier and become a master communicator.   It starts with deepening your awareness of self and as importantly how your natural behavior style impacts others.   The great news is that this is a skill you learn and master enabling you to connect on a new level with others

In this session we will explore how to increase the effectiveness of your communications and improve your relationships in the process.   Please join us for an interactive webinar session complete with breakout rooms for discussion to learn:

    The importance of communication styles

To recognize how your style is perceived by and impacts others

How the DISC Assessment Tool is used to assess communication styles

To become more self-aware (what do you know about yourself and your behaviors)

How to flex your style to reach your audience and increase your impact

Perceptions that are made based on communication styles

Other People’s expectations based on communications

    Effective Communications Best Practices
