    We are privileged to have our guest speakers, Bryan Gulcin and Angie Escalante, University Partnership Managers at ECPI University join us for our May Discussion Group Session. 

    The topic they will be presenting is on   

    Opportunities for Workforce Development through University Partnerships .

    ECPI University will lead the discussion on how strong businesses want to attract and retain top talent, while increasing engagement, productivity, and performance.  Engaged employees are your most valuable asset and providing avenues to assist with employee growth options ensures growth and long-term stability.  Their role is to bring industry and universities together to support students and career transitioning individuals.

    During this presentation, you will hear about how we prepare and equip students for the workforce and how University Partnerships can assist with key areas that impact business. In this session, you will learn:

    1. How University Partnerships Ensure Growth and Long Term Stability
    2. Career Development through University Partnerships
    3. Career Preparation for Students Entering the Workforce
    4. How Universities and Industry, while having different missions, cultures, and structures, can increasingly find common ground in mutually beneficial collaborations.

    Speaker’s Biography:  

    Bryan Gulcin received his Liberal Arts Bachelor’s degree in Education from Baldwin-Wallace University, near Cleveland, Ohio.  Bryan has helped develop the Manassas Campus of ECPI in six months as University Partnerships Manager, helping to bring in seven new partnerships and close one-hundred new partnership enrollments.  In addition, Bryan has worked as the Director of Career Services in an interim capacity and has successfully helped students find positions in their area of study.  Bryan lives with his wife and three dogs in Stafford, Virginia.  Bryan Gulcin has been with ECPI University since August 2020.  Prior to his arrival, he had worked in Recruitment and Market Development Entrepreneur’s #5 Franchise in the United States and taught in Fairfax County.  Residing in Stafford, Virginia with his wife and three dogs, Bryan has a drive for career development and education and can be found most Autumn Sundays passionately watching the Cleveland Browns.

    Co-presenter’s biography:

    Angie Escalante is a University Partnership Manager and has been with ECPI for nearly 12 years. While she supports all ECPI campuses, online has always been her primary focus. She lives in Virginia Beach, VA with her husband, 2 year old son, and 4 year old fur baby.
